In Recognition of Outstanding Voluntary Service
This award is presented annually to a current NPMC member and volunteer who has contributed countless hours of dedicated time and effort to improve the association and support its goals and objectives.
Mr. Lew Thompson was a beloved member of the National Petroleum Management Corporation (NPMC) and the POL community and served our country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Thompson passed away on October 4. 2010 and is dearly missed. In honor of his outstanding service, NPMC established an award in his name for those who go above and beyond with assistance and support to the NPMC and Fuelhandler. This award was established in 2011.
