Scully’s core systems include—but are not limited to—overfill prevention, static ground proving, retained product monitoring, vehicle identification and communication and fluid delivery systems.

We are seeking a customer-focused self-starter with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and resolve customer technical support issues. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple trouble shooting scenarios daily.

What is Expected from You

  • Provide live telephone support for customers on new installation as well as troubleshooting electronics systems in the field used on vehicles and fuel terminals.
  • Once fully trained, occasional travel (initially up to 20%) to customer sites as needed for field service of tank vehicle and fuel loading terminal electronics and firmware equipment as well as customer training or new product development field trials (eventually up to 30% travel). Some field service work is performed in hazardous liquids areas with strict safety protocols.
  • Provide product demonstrations and provide customer training at remote sites as needed.
  • Set-up and perform tests of electronic items, as well as software upgrades and provide feedback to Engineering and Quality Assurance regarding performance of equipment.
  • Occasionally provide after-hours telephone support on a rotating schedule with other Technical Services Representatives.

Your Background

  • Associate degree in electronics, vocational electronics certificate or equivalent experience and training.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in a technical support position.
  • Computer literate with Windows applications (Word, Excel), familiarity with ERP system, Infor/Syteline, Bluetooth®  and software/APP support experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer relations skills; verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and make decisions in real time with minimal supervision.

Position Requirements

  • Willingness for occasional travel in the US and Canada, including air travel.
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders and work from heights above 10 feet.
  • Ability to occasionally work in challenging outdoor environments; extreme heat/cold.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC® (Transportation Worker Identification Credential required by Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities.) which requires a background check.

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on-site at Scully Headquarters, Wilmington, MA.
